Why Haven’t Fruit & Vegetable Eaters Been Told About This Toxic Waste Overload

The U.S. government is encouraging farmers to spread a chalky waste from coal-fired power plants on theirgypsum, FGD gypsum, farming, toxic waste, soil fields to loosen and fertilize soil.

The material is produced by power plant “scrubbers” that remove acid-rain-causing sulfur dioxide from plant emissions.

The substance is a synthetic form of the mineral gypsum, and it also contains mercury, arsenic, lead and other heavy metals.

The Environmental Protection Agency says those toxic metals occur in only tiny amounts. But some environmentalists say too little is known about how the material affects crops, and ultimately human health.

Dr. Mercola’s Comments:

As you may know, coal-fired plants produce about 50 percent of the power in the US, and are a major source of environmental pollution. One of its byproducts is FGD gypsum (flue gas desulfurization gypsum). Not surprisingly, the standard solution is to develop a scheme to sweep the problem under the rug and make money doing it…<<MORE>>

Being Positive In A Negative Economy

Sunday, November 8th, 2009

Most reports we hear on television right now are negative and about problems with living in our times. It’s negative news on the current government administration, negative news on the state of our economy, negative news on the state of the dollar and it crashing soon, negative news on events going on around the world, and negative news on the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. With all that negativity, how do we find something to be positive about today?

I enjoyed church this week, it inspired me to think more positive about the gloom and doom going on around me, so I thought it would be a good idea to share some of what I learned with you. Take it for what it’s worth to you and apply whatever you feel will help you deal with the negatives in your own life.

The first thing I learned is that how we deal with our circumstances is all about perspective, the way we view events taking place around us. We may choose to live in our own little world and think all is well, we can accept the reality of the world we live in and complain about it, or we can choose to accept things as they are but be positive in our responses to what we see and hear.

The way I see it, we have a choice to be negative or positive about our environment. If we choose to be positive, we may need to change our mindset.  Also, we may need to challenge ourselves to do something that helps us live in the world but not of the world. In other words, we make the choice to be positive. Also, accepting that we are not alone in this world and that there is no need to suffer through it by ourselves gives us a sense of well-being. We have each other, we have our communities on the Internet and at home, and we have a “Father in Heaven”; a being who loves us and will protect us in the safe cocoon that he provides for us.

In this way, we are much like a grove of trees. Trees standing close together catch another when it falls.  Also, trees lean against another until someone comes along to either tether them up to something in order to straighten them or to cut them down.

We can become as a grove of trees. This means we catch each other when someone falls to prevent him or her from toppling over in a life storm or becoming washed away in the torrent.  Also, it means we allow someone to lean on us for awhile until he or she tethers themselves to whatever helps them straighten up and stand again.

As we become more like a grove of trees in a storm, we gather strength from each other. This strengthens us as we fight the challenges we face right now, and helps us weather the brunt of our economic storm. By standing closely with each other, we know we have someone near who understands what we are going through and knows how to help us. This knowledge alone can be very comforting to us.

Think about it, when we put together our resources, our time and talents, our encouragement, and our love, we can accomplish great things that would not normally be accomplished alone.

Our nation is notorious for standing together in a crisis. Remember  9/11, how we came together to help those afflicted by the disaster! It made us stronger as a nation and as a people. For a short time, we forgot about our differences and about politics, we actually came together and supported each other.

I wrote these thoughts after 9/11/2001, regarding the way people responded to the crisis.

You were an inspiration to this country, as you came together from far and wide across this nation; united in purpose and patriotism.

This was shown in the flags you raised and the songs you sang, in the candles you lit, and the prayers you said.

With heads held high and caring arms spread, you hugged each other as tears were shed.

You were a ray of sunshine in the middle of turmoil, and an inspiration when this country was thrust into chaos.

No one did this alone; we did it together! Together we bridged the chasm of grief and despair, and together we face the future.

Although outraged for what happened that day, we must be united in order to be strong.

I saw people come out from all walks of life and all corners of the world to support the people in New York in their time of need. In addition, I saw this nation reach out to other countries in their crisis as well, and many churches contribute food and supplies to people suffering in a disaster.  This is exactly the kind of thing I am talking about; caring for others in our own way and in our own community or online communities.

There are some really hard times in store for us as a nation in the near future. When the dollar crashes, it will cause huge problems for not only America but for other nations  as well.  Our dollar impacts the world and the world impacts us as well.  One of the videos I posted points out that we will be the first to fall victim to over-spending and huge national debt. However, other nations have done the same and will follow the same path as America.  So this is going to be a world-wide problem very shortly. This is why we need to become a grove of trees RIGHT NOW and prepare the best we can to respond appropriately to this type of world crisis.  I suggest you watch some of the videos I have on my vodpod:  Click Here.  Also, you will probably like OhWell-ItsOk.com and FamilyBasics.

We would love to hear from you.  Give us your advice for helping people who are suffering right now from a troubled economy.  This is not just our web site (mine or Terrance’s), it’s yours too. We want you to be part of  our grove of trees.  Please tell us your thoughts, questions, and advice.  Tell us how you handle the economy problems you face and how you have overcome the trials of our times.

Women that are Mothers and Grandmothers will be playing a valuable role
in bringing communities together.

When the dollar collapses we will need to be self-reliant by bartering and trading
so that we will have our needs met by other means.

Are we really out of the recession, as the media is telling us?  Perhaps!  But perhaps the economy will continue to waiver because so many Americans are out of work.

This article is not about politics however, it does have something to do with the economy and how politics shape our way of living. There has been a lot of talk about the American dollar and how it is expected to collapse.  I do believe a collapse will happen soon.

When we think about how we are to live without an actual currency, or should I say when the new SDR (Special Drawing Rights) currency is instituted, we will need to change the way we live. The speculation suggests that the SDR will be in an implanted chip that people have been talking about for quite some time.  The SDR implanted chip will not have an actual currency.  A scanned chip will track our activities, likely to include debts, credits and medical information.

We will need to be self-reliant and work together as a community.  This is where moms and grandmoms come into the picture. The typical man doesn’t give a hoot about coming together like women do.  Women take their family responsibilities seriously and so it would be in the best interests of their family to be self-reliant.

Men as well as women will need to negotiate, trade, and barter as a system so their families will be able to have what they stand in need of without going to the SDR chip system.  Women will play a valuable role in the way we will be forced to live.

Sorry folks, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but all of this is likely to become reality by design because of the government’s agenda.  This is part of the One World Order with One World currency.

When the dollar collapses, the government will be free of debt at home and abroad.  Americans will be the ones holding the bag, leaving them bankrupt and destitute.  We have to think ahead my friends because the time is coming soon  when we will be forced to be self-reliant. We will need to work together as a community and help one another through the troublesome times.

This article is not designed to be used as a scare tactic but to inform you about what is being done right under our noses. We need to stock pile food, medical supplies, alternative power sources, dutch-oven cooking implements, emergency supplies and equipment, and greenhouses so you can grow your own food.

We believe that what we are doing to help people prepare for the future is right thing to do nowadays. Take a moment to browse through our store and see what supplies you will need, so you won’t be taken by surprise.

What can you do in order to retire or start a business of your own. How can you make yourself more independent and self-reliant?

These are important questions because that is what you will need for the future trials ahead of us.  You need to have something you can do for yourself to be self-sufficient so you do not have to rely on government or an employer for your sustenance.

Part 2-Adjusting To The New Reality

I can’t think of better advice from this video for you as a consumer, as a nation, and as a citizen of any nation. All of us will face these problems in the future, some of us sooner than others.

Having a savings account used to be the first thing parents taught their children about money management.   Now few parents talk to their children about having a savings account. Instead, they teach them by example to spend money freely by using plastic credit cards and a check books.

Children nowadays have very little idea of what things cost or have an understanding of the value of money. We need to teach our children that we don’t buy everything we see and that we want. They need to understand restraint and delayed gratification in the greater scheme of things in life.

What plans do you have to adjusting your spending habits and save money?   I understand that making ends meet and saving our money is a difficult thing to talk about in these times, but we need to find a way to put aside $10 or $20 a month to start with. After that, we need to find a way to pay off debt, one at a time, until each are all paid off. I know, “It’s easier said than done,” yet we really need to do something now in order to survive in the days ahead.

Don’t get lulled into thinking that, if the dollar crashes, we will be free of debt…that is a mistake in thinking.   The only ones that will benefit from the dollar crashing is the government.  The nation, in essence, will be bankrupt and therefore, free of debt to foreign countries…but we are not free of our debts. Sorry, but that is how the government planned it.  That is why the government wants to know where all your money is being kept.
